Pendopo Energi Batubara is a coal mining company that focuses its activities specifically for lignite deposits in Pendopo, Muara Enim, South Sumatra. PEB supplies lignite to mine mouth projects, domestic and export markets. Pendopo Energi Batubara is the holder of 3rd Generation Coal Contract of Work (CCoW) with the Government of Indonesia and obtained its operating permit on May 2009 for 30 years of coal production. The Company is a subsidiary of PT. Bumi Resources, Tbk. and had entered a Cooperation Agreement with DH Energy in 2007 for the Pendopo Coal Development Program, as feedstock supplier to mine mouth coal utilization projects developed by DH Energy. Our goal is to maximize our expertise and coal deposits to fulfill the high demand for coal as well as the requirement for alternative energy sources.
